How to Change Your Life in One Step

Taking a leap of faith for personal change and courage.

You are facing a new situation. 

You shiver with fear. 

You used to tell yourself, “I can’t do this”; “I’ll look completely stupid”; “Everybody will immediately see through me and see what a phony I am”; “I’m not good enough for this”.  

No wonder that you haven’t taken the step yet. 

That was the past. By now you’ve grown more courageous.  

Stop what you are doing. 

Take a deep breath. Stretch to loosen your muscles. 

Realize that you are on uncharted territories – you haven’t been here before.  

Ask questions. Ask for help. Honor your fears. 

You are about to learn something fundamentally new to you – even though not new to the world. 

You will take it easy but you will take on the challenge. 

 You tell yourself that you can do it. 

Take your first step. Know that it will likely be clumsy until you gain more confidence. 

 Keep going. 

 Sing your chosen song of courage. 

 Keep moving forward. 

Don’t look back until the past “small-mouse You” gave out its last breath. 

It is a dangerous next step. You make sure that your goal is worth it.
